 The Nigerian Army has launched a special force to end the killings that are happening in Mangu Local Government and other parts of Plateau State.

 JOS, NIGERIA —

 The Chief of Staff of Nigeria, Major General, Taoreed Lagbaja launched the command called "Operation Tiger's Teeth IV" and urged the military officers to carry out their work without knowing - nothing new, without showing any bias to restore peace in Plateau State.

 After completing the launch of the command, the Chief of Staff went to a meeting room in a primary school in Mangu town, where thousands of people, especially women and children who are refugees, met with stakeholders and discussed the issue of peace.

 The head of the Miyetti Alla Herdsmen's Association in Mangu Local Government, Yahaya Bello Shanono gave assurances of unity to achieve peace.

 The head of the Mwaghavul tribe development group, Mr Joseph Gwankat, hoped that God would give the chiefs the skills to end the problem.

 Acting Chairman of Mangu Local Government, Honorable Markus Artu said that he has dedicated himself to ensure that there is peace in the Mangu area.

 The Chief of Mangu State, Mishkaham Mwaghavul, and John Putmang Hirse have appealed to the people to be patient with each other.

 At the end of the meeting, the Chief of Staff of Nigeria, Major General Taoreed Lagbaja told the participants that the forces will be in the area to ensure peace, so he asked for their support.

 The conflict in the Mangu region that started with the killing of one person has expanded, where more than two hundred lives have been lost, houses and places of worship have been burned, while farms and animals have also been destroyed, thousands of people are fleeing, and some are not even known where they are.
