The Labour Party in Nigeria Said

The ruling Labor Party in Nigeria has denied talks with its counterparts in the PDP and NNPP to form a single party that will challenge the ruling APC in the upcoming elections.

The Labor Party stated this after some of the Nigerian newspapers reported that there is a meeting between the PDP presidential candidates Atiku Abubakar, NNPP Rabi'u Kwankwaso, and Peter Obi to unite.

The spokesperson of the National Labor Party, Dr Tanko Yunusa said that what they know is that there is an understanding discussion between their candidate and those of the NNPP and the PDP, which has nothing to do with the issue of providing  and a party or something like that.

And Dr.  Tanko Yunusa said that even if they are to be united, they should be given the lead more than anything else, and put them first.
